June 23, 2009 - Link-Belt today announced plans to add a new assembly bay to its Lexington, KY headquarters. This is a design/build project for DBR Engineering.  As part of the expansion it will upgrade and redesign areas of the plant to allow for more machining and welding capacity. Expected to be operational by mid-2011 the new bay will house up to 100 new workers for Link-Belt.

 

April 24, 2009 - The University of Kentucky and Congleton-Hacker Company have chosen DBR Engineering to handle the electrical work for the new Livestock Disease Diagnostic Center on Coldstream campus. Improvements to the facility include the addition of wings for necropsy laboratories and administration, freeing up much of the existing building to increase overall laboratory space. These expansions will nearly double the size of the existing 38,000-square-foot facility. In addition, the current facility will undergo a total renovation. This is a nearly $28.5M expansion and renovation.  Pictures from the groundbreaking follow:

March 24, 2009 - Kentucky State University and Congleton-Hacker Company have chosen DBR Engineering to handle the electrical work for their new Land Grant Farm Welcome Center.  This will be a beautiful building and gathering space.  The total project is expected to be in the $5M range. DBR Engineering will be installing all electrical, fire alarm and voice/data cabling.
